Discover Our Community Concert Series

The Monday Musical Club presents our free public Community Concert Series October through June featuring professional musicians, artists-educators, music educators, student artists, and local music enthusiasts. We have a rich history of providing our community with a variety of top quality musicians, dancers, and other performers.

Western Michigan Brass Quintet

The Western Michigan Brass Quintet is a re-envisioned version of the Western Brass Quintet, which performed cutting-edge, virtuosic repertoire for national and international audiences across the world for over six decades. These five performers (Scott Thornburg and Robert White, trumpets; Lin Foulk Baird, horn; Daniel Mattson, trombone; and Jacob Cameron) currently hold positions with the Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo Symphonies and Western Michigan University and they played together in the Western Brass Quintet from 2014-20.

Develop Skills & Confidence at Our Student Club

The Monday Musical Club encourages young musicians by membership in our Student Club. Experiences include monthly performance opportunities coupled with artist and educators who present various forums for our student music community. Youth ages 6 through 12th grade are welcome. Scholarship opportunities are also available to student members.

Join us October through June for our Community Concert Series. Our Community Concert Series is open to the public, with donations welcome, and held at First Congregational Church.

Scholarship Competition

Student Scholarships

Scholarships are available to students in the 6th through 12th grade who are members of the Monday Musical Student Club.

The Scholarship Committee may also offer Continuing Education Scholarships to music major candidates who have completed at least their first year and are working toward an accredited music degree. Only former members of the MMC Junior and Student Clubs are eligible.

MMC Women's Chorus

The Monday Musical Club Chorus is a group of women who love to sing in a choral setting. Our chorus was established many decades ago and has performed locally and all over the state.

Engage & Educate

Music Grants

Grants are offered to schools and non-profit organizations in Berrien County to support music instruction, programs, performances, or other purposes that would engage and educate people of all ages. Nonprofit organizations must have 501(c)3 designation from the IRS to be eligible.
